How to Spy on an iPhone using Spy Software Apps

June 11, 2018

When it comes to spying on iPhones, it’s a bit limited compared to Blackberry and Android. Those two phones were the first to have apps developed for them, as not only was it easy, but you didn’t have to worry about dealing with the iPhone’s stricter policy on apps.

But now, it’s gotten better. There are apps you can get that will spy on any Apple device. iPhone, iPad, iPod, you name it. Spying on Apple devices has only gotten easier, and we’ll tell you a few ways you can spy on an Apple device as of 2016. Here are the two ways you can do it.

Use Normal Spy Software

So what’s normal spy software? Basically, it’s software that you have to install directly on the target device. In other words, you have to have the person you’re spying on’s phone and put the software on it.

Sounds easy, right? Well, not only do you have to know the device’s code, if it has one, but the device also has to be jailbroken. What’s that mean? We’ll discuss it below. But for now, let’s talk about the second option, which involves non-jailbreaking options.

Use the No Jailbreak Method

For those who can’t get a device jailbroken, there are alternatives. Sadly, this is a new method to spy on iOS devices, so it still needs work, and is not available to all spy software. So how do you spy on a phone that’s not jailbroken? You have to go to their iCloud.

iCloud is iOS’s solution to cloud storage. You can make backups of your device and put them on there, giving you some peace of mind in case your device loses all of its data, or if you get a new device. The jailbreak-free software involves you getting your target’s backup data from their iCloud, and no installation on their device is required.

Not having to access the target’s device sounds great at first. You don’t have to grab their phone or unlock it. But there is still a roadblock with this method, and that’s the fact that you need the user’s password and Apple ID to access their iCloud.

Plus, the target has to be backing up their data onto iCloud in the first place. If not, you’re out of luck.

The other problem is that the data you get from these backups is more limited than it is if you installed the spyware on the target device. So this method should be used as a last resort. The future may improve iCloud spying, but for now, it’s definitely not as good.

So you have two ways to spy on someone’s device. If anyone says there’s another way, you should be skeptical, as most of the time, they’re trying to scam you. So, with that out of the way, let’s go into more detail about these methods of spying, shall we?

Jailbroken Spy Software Guide

There are many programs you can use to spy on someone’s device, but the big three we recommend are MobiStealth, Flexispy, and mSpy, and you can check out our reviews if you’d like.

Also, after you’ve chosen the software that’s best suited for you, make sure you’re doing the spying legally. While many people are going to use the software unethically, such as spying on their spouse, we condone only ethical spying.

In other words, you’re a parent who’s spying on your underage child’s device to make sure they’re not doing anything you wouldn’t want them to, or you’re a boss who wants to make sure your employees are working on their company-owned devices instead of dilly-dallying on Facebook or YouTube.

Use it for nothing else. We’re not responsible if you get in trouble with the law for trying to figure out who your ex is seeing.

And again, the device needs to be jailbroken. So what is jailbreaking?

As mentioned before, Apple is strict when it comes to apps. Their store has many rules, and only apps that meet those rules can be downloaded. On a normal phone, you can’t download apps that are outside the Apple Store.

It’s understandable. Apple wants to make sure you’re downloading apps that are safe and high-quality, and spying apps can be used for unethical reasons, so Apple doesn’t want to be associated with them. But a strict app policy can stifle creativity, which is why many jailbreak their phones to download third party apps.

Jailbreaking involves hacking your phone to remove the limitations imposed by the manufacturer. Your device will become a lot more customizable, and there’s definitely reasons to jailbreak your phone besides installing spy software on it.

So is jailbreaking complicated? Will it destroy your phone if you mess up? It’s not as bad as it sounds, and we have plenty of guides that even a tech dummy can read and understand. Many of the software companies will even jailbreak the phone for you, for a fee, if you’re really afraid of messing with your device.

Jailbreaking is also reversible, too.

Also, you need to remember that spy software is designed for certain iOS versions. If your device is too out of date, or too new, for the software requirements, it may not work. You can see what versions are supported by the spy software before you download, so you won’t have to worry too much. Just do a bit of research before you purchase.

Now you know why jailbreaking is important. Even if you don’t use spy software, it’s still a cool way to give more freedom to your phone. Now that this is out of the way, let’s look at some of the software you can download. We’ll be looking at the big three, as mentioned earlier.

Flexispy is perhaps the most advanced out of the three, and supports up to the newest version of iOS. If you’re looking for a program that can fully spy on someone, this is the one you need. There’s a longer review if you want to read more about it, but for now, we’ll just summarize what it is.

Flexispy can monitor the essentials, such as GPS, texts, call logs, pictures, video, and can track and report in real time. Advanced features include being able to control the camera and microphone, being able to crack passwords, and monitoring chat apps such as Skype and WhatsApp.

Perhaps its most notable feature is being able to record calls and listen to calls in real time. See, the other two are based in the US, and the laws here frown upon call recording features. Flexispy is not in the US, so they can have these features.

Besides that, Flexispy will not be detectable by the target. It makes sure the program is hidden in the background and does not consume too much data. It also has a ten-day money back guarantee, so you don’t have to worry about getting software you don’t like.

The only downside is the cost.

The Price

Flexispy has two main versions: Premium and Extreme. There are monthly plans, and you get a better value the bigger your plan is. For instance, Premium will cost you $68 for a month and will cost you $149 for a year. The extreme version is $199 for three months and $349 for a year.

The Extreme version, as expected, is the one with the most features.

Besides this, Flexispy has its own installation service, where you pay a fee and have a team of professionals guide you as you jailbreak and install the program. It’s good if jailbreaking sounds too intimidating

So yes, this program is the one you want if you need the most features. Nothing tops it in this department. But the other two software apps are a good value, especially if you don’t need all the fancy bells and whistles Flexispy has. Let’s look at mSpy, shall we?

mSpy is a cheaper alternative to Flexispy. As we’ve stated before, Flexispy is the only app that allows you to record and spy on live calls, but if you don’t need that feature, Flexispy won’t be worth it, and maybe you should check out mSpy.

mSpy is great for many reasons. First, it’s user friendly. You won’t be intimidated by the program, no matter your skill level. mSpy is also quite popular. With over a million users, they’re definitely a trusted brand.

So what do you get for the price? You get the standard reporting features that we don’t have to go over.

So instead, we’ll be looking at its unique features. These features include email alerts and being able to block specific apps and numbers from the target device. Great if you don’t want that bad influence calling your kid.

Besides that, their customer service is legendary, and who doesn’t like some good customer service?

Like Flexispy, mSpy has two packages with two pricing tiers. First, we have the basic package, which has all the essentials. You can get it for around $30 for a month, or around $100 for a year. The premium option, which has all the features, will cost you around $70 for one month of $200 for a year. If you need the software for a while, the yearly deal is the best value. The one month plan is good if you just need it temporarily.

Now, let’s check out MobiStealth

Like the other two, it monitors all iOS devices and you need to have it jailbroken for the software to work. MobiStealth has been improving their software over the years, and while they’re not as popular as the other two of the big three, they’re a work in progress.

Like the others, they have the essentials when it comes to monitoring, and they also boast a dashboard that is quite sleek and user friendly. Like mSpy, they have a No Jailbreak option that gives you limited reporting via iCloud.

As usual, two packages, two plans.

First, we have the Lite version which will cost you around $50 for three months and around $100 for a year.
Then, we have the Pro version, which will cost you around $80 for three months and $140 for a year.

While MobiStealth is still new to the game, they’re definitely worth a try! They work hard to compete with the big dogs, and isn’t that what’s most important. Plus, they’re reliable.

So, Which to Choose?

There are other apps that spy on an iPhone, but in our opinion, they’re the best value and the most reliable. There are more bad spy programs than good, so we believe in keeping your selection limited.

The choice, really, depends on what you need. Do you need something basic, or want something with cool features? We really can’t recommend one, so you should give them all a spin and figure out which is the best.
Also, check out the full reviews, if you want to decide. This article only covers the basic features of these programs.

Now, more about not jailbreaking your device.

The No Jailbreak Option

Some are unsure about jailbreaking their device, and for reasonable excuses. Some believe that jailbreaking can mess up the device, or don’t know how to do it. Again, jailbreaking is reversible and there is tech support that can help you through the process, but there are those who just don’t want to do it, and that’s fine. So let’s look at the No Jailbreak option.

If you want the best No Jailbreak solution, you should go with mSpy. Why? We’re about to find out.
mSpy allows you to monitor without any installation on the other device. If your target backs up their phone on iCloud, and you know their ID and password, you can use this option. It needs no installed software, and you can use the online dashboard from mSpy to do it, so you don’t even have to download anything.

You’ll get backups contain essential data, but the problem is that they won’t be in real time, and won’t be as on point as the jailbroken software. As of this article, you can see the essentials such as call logs, contacts, tracking, browser history, etc. It’s decent, but should be used as a last resort, as mentioned.

The Price

If you want the No Jailbreak option, it’ll run you around the same as the jailbroken option.
So the No Jailbreak solution is decent, but the full software is the best way to go if you want to monitor someone fully without any cracks. But hey, it’s nice these companies are giving a non-jailbreak option, and things will probably improve in the future.

We still recommend jailbreaking, but it’s good if nothing else works.

As you can see, you have some decent options when it comes to spying on an Apple device. Are there flaws? Sure. But those may be fixed in the future.

If you’re still intrigued, and want to learn more, check out or reviews and other articles. They should satisfy your cravings.

How to Get a Refund for a Useless Android App?

February 4, 2014

In the real world, when you buy something, and come to find that the product is faulty or does not perform as advertised, you are given the possibility of returning it in a set time frame, after which you will get a full refund, or a replacement. Even though the manufacturer is losing money by doing this, in the long run, it is a much more favorable way to go, because they will end up losing a larger amount or potential customers because of bad publicity.

When you purchase software, let’s say an Android app, you would expect more of the same: in case the app is faulty, or performs contrary to what is advertised, you return it and get your money back. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The time frame for returning the faulty Android application bought through the Google Play Store is 15 minutes, according to Google’s official policy.

Start the Countdown…

Most Android apps are pretty much straight-forward, but 15 minutes is still not enough time for the user to get aplay store apps good idea of how the app will perform. The return period was shortened to 15 minutes in December 2010, even though it used to be 24 hours. According to Google, that’s more than enough time for users to gauge whether the app is faulty or not. By doing this, they were also able to prevent games from being returned to the store after being played for free for 24 hours. The process of refunding is fairly simple: you go into the Play Store and find the app you are not satisfied with, and choose the “Refund” option and you will get the amount paid for the app. After the 15-minute window, there is no more “Refund” option. The only thing you can do is to uninstall the app in case you are not happy with it.

Just consider the situation where you have downloaded the app, and all of a sudden you need to answer a call which turns out to be urgent, or you happen to be in an area with bad reception. This is not just the case of “what if”, because two LA residents decided to take Google to Californian court in 2012, specifically because of that, although that case hasn’t been concluded as of yet.

Demanding a Refund from the Developer

According to Google, in case you fail to ask for a refund after 15 minutes, the next step you need to take is to establish a contact with the developer, using their contact information provided in the Play Store, or directly through their website. However, this does not guarantee you will be successful, as many developers don’t give refunds, or their policy is written in such a way that makes it hard for you to prove the product is faulty. Unfortunately, some developers employ false advertising, deliberately offering apps that they know are faulty, so taking precautionary measures and reading the reviews is something that is necessary.

Demanding a Refund from Google

Keep in mind that Google doesn’t issue refunds very often. But, looking into section 3.4 of Google’s Developer Distribution Agreement, you will see that Google is able to give refunds for those products which cannot be preview within a window of 48 hours, such as apps. Refunds are not possible for items such as ringtones or wallpapers. You need to log into your Google Play account and choose “My Orders”, find the faulty app and hover the cursor until you are provided with “Report a problem” option. Clicking this will guide to a window where you will choose “I’d like to request a refund” from the drop-down menu. After filling in the text box, clearly stating your reasons for a refund, just click “Submit”.

The Third Option

After the first two options fail, you are left with the possibility of contacting your credit card company and proving there has been a breach of contract. Just to be on the safe side, try to capture screenshots of the faulty app as evidence. With most companies, you have 120 days to file a complaint. After receiving the complaint, your credit card company will notify Google. If the refund amount is less than $10, the developer will be momentarily charged through their Google Wallet account. In case of larger amounts, the developer is notified by Google, which usually leads to communication between you and the developer. In case there has been a clear breach of contract, they will issue a refund.

The best thing you can do for yourself is to prevent getting into a situation like this by avoiding developers with bad reputation and apps with negative reviews. But, in case you make that mistake, you are now familiar with all the necessary steps you need to take to receive a refund.

Gmail is more than just an email client. Their GoogleDrive allows you to store photos, files, attachments, and other documents. Users can also manage multiple email addresses from one inbox. So, you can connect your work and personal email if you choose to do so. The 10GB of cloud storage is plenty for most users, but for some, it can be limiting. Built in chat and video calling also makes it a one-stop-shop for all your communication needs. Gmail does scan emails to tailor ads for you, and that raises red-flags with some users. This is the new with many improvements. Microsoft’s SkyDrive is cloud based storage with unlimited outlookcapacity for users (compared to Gmail’s 10GB). The social network integration is incomparable, as well. No other email client can boast this. Of course, it’s biggest competition is Gmail. Bottom line, is powerful, easy to use, and free.

Yahoo is very popular in the United States, even 15 years after its release. It has changed often over the years, and looks to change even more as it fights to compete with Gmail and It’s very similar to the email clients everyone used in the 90’s except with a few more enhancements. This, like most of these clients, are available for Android and Apple devices.
